B. Maggie Foster is the Technology and Job Information Librarian for Mundy Branch Library, located in Syracuse, NY. The branch library is part of the Onondaga County Public Library, which serves the city of Syracuse and neighboring suburbs. When not putting together awesome workforce development programs for her adult patrons, she spends her time assisting with teens and kids in the Near Westside community, and serving on committees within the library system. Her participation in the Readers’ Services Team has led to many great initiatives and reminds Maggie why she loves working in libraries - helping readers find their next great read.
Colleen Galvin is the Assistant Director of the Durango Public Library, located in Southwest Colorado. The Durango Public Library serves the City of Durango, La Plata County and its surrounding areas (around 55,000 people). She initiated and leads her library’s successful Readers Advisory committee, which draws staff from all levels. Colleen previously worked as a teen librarian in Central Oregon, and as a branch manager in Denver (but thinks the Durango Library has the best scenery). She firmly believes in providing the right material to the right person at the right time, whether they are three or 73.
Diana Platt is a Reference Librarian and readers’ advisor at the Kansas City Public Library, where she enjoys helping people find just the right book.
Seth Emery is a Library Technical Assistant at the Kansas City Public Library Westport Branch. He also serves on the Readers’ Advisory Committee and works with Outreach. Seth is passionate about advocating for at-risk and LGBTQ youth. In his spare time, Seth likes to read (of course), cook tasty vegetarian dishes, and travel. He lives with his partner and their cats in Kansas City.
